Instructions for battery disposal
Used Bikes Oliver Blas GmbH
In connection with the offer and/or sale of batteries to end users via mail order, we provide the following legally required information:
1. Return of used batteries
Batteries can be returned free of charge after use to designated collection points (e.g., municipal collection points) or to retailers.
In mail order, the retail store is the distributor's warehouse. Our take-back obligation is limited to used batteries of the type that we currently stock or have previously stocked as new batteries. You can return such used batteries to us by mail (with sufficient postage) or drop them off in person at the following address:
Used Bikes Oliver Blas GmbH
Rosenheimer Str. 32

2. Legal obligation
End users are legally obligated to return used batteries. This serves to protect the environment and recover valuable raw materials.
3. Meaning of the battery symbols
The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled waste bin indicates that the old battery must be collected separately from unsorted municipal waste (household waste prohibition).
The symbols below the crossed-out waste bin symbol have the following meaning:
- Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by mass
- Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium by mass
- Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% lead by mass
