Technical Information & Commissioning

Congratulations on your new bike! To ensure a safe start, please read these instructions on handover and maintenance carefully. These are an integral part of the purchase contract.

📍 Local Pickup (Raubling)

Your bike will be handed over fully assembled. The handover is purely for goods issue. No instruction or individual adjustment will be provided.

📦 Shipping by Freight Forwarder

The bike arrives partially disassembled. Professional final assembly according to manufacturer specifications (torque settings!) by you or a workshop is mandatory.

1. Suspension & Safety

⚠️ Setup Obligation: For MTBs, precisely adjust the suspension fork and shock absorber to your body weight using a shock pump. Before the first ride, check all screws with a torque wrench.

2. Break-in Period & Maintenance (after 100–200 km)

A bicycle is a technical system that "settles" under stress. The following points must be checked after approximately 10-20 hours of riding:

  • Screw connections: All bolts must be re-tightened.
  • Wheels: Spokes can settle. Re-truing may be necessary.
  • Gears: Fine adjustment of cable tension after initial cable stretching.
  • Brakes: After bedding in, adjustment of the caliper may be necessary.
⚠️ Failure to observe the break-in period or incorrect setup endangers your safety and will void warranty claims for subsequent damages!
