The Bontrager Aeolus Pro is an ultralight aero road saddle specifically developed for cyclists who prefer an aggressive, forward-leaning riding position. Based on the latest biomechanical insights, this saddle combines a shorter overall length with a wider nose and a full cut-out. This design drastically minimizes pressure on soft tissue and enables a more efficient pelvic posture without compromising power output.
The construction relies on high-end materials: a lightweight, carbon-reinforced saddle shell offers the perfect balance of stiffness for direct power transfer and targeted compliance for long-term comfort. The minimal pro padding not only saves weight but also provides a sleek, race-ready profile. With a width of 155 mm, this model offers excellent sit bone support, while the oversized carbon rails ensure stability at a minimal overall weight of only approx. 173 g.
Important technical note
• Seatpost compatibility: The Aeolus Pro features oversized carbon saddle rails (7x10 mm, oval). Special seatpost clamps suitable for oval carbon rails are required for mounting. Standard clamps for round 7mm rails are not compatible.
