The original BMC stem was specially developed for integration with the innovative Micro Travel Technology (MTT) suspension forks on the **URS01, URS, and URS LT models (from model year 2022+)**. Made from high-strength, lightweight aluminum, this A-head stem provides the perfect link between cockpit and chassis. It has been uncompromisingly designed to withstand the particular stresses of tougher gravel and off-road use, without unnecessarily adding to the overall weight.
The stem, with a length of **80 mm**, is exclusively designed for steerer tubes with a diameter of **1 1/4 inches**. With a sporty stem angle of **8°** and a standardized handlebar clamp of **31.7 / 31.8 mm**, it ensures perfectly balanced geometry and maximum stiffness during steering maneuvers in technical terrain.
