The perfect, extremely stiff centerpiece for the cockpit of modern cross-country and marathon race bikes: The Bontrager Kovee Pro 35 stem was consistently developed for maximum performance at racing level. With its groundbreaking **oversized clamp diameter of 35 mm**, it ensures drastically increased torsional stiffness during steering maneuvers and at the same time enables a weight-optimized construction of the entire cockpit system. Made from high-strength, **3D-forged 7075-T73 aluminum**, this lightweight component boasts a minimalist weight of just approx. 129 grams.
This highly functional **bicycle stem** with a length of **50 mm** and a sporty, aggressive angle of **-13 degrees** (reversible) puts maximum pressure on the front wheel on steep uphills. The construction is fully approved for mounting delicate carbon handlebars. A real advantage for modern frame concepts is the unrestricted compatibility with both the Bontrager **Knock Block System** and classic standard headsets and spacers. Thanks to the laser-engraved reference marks on the 4-bolt faceplate, the exact and reproducible adjustment of the optimal handlebar angle can be done in no time.
