The Shimano 105 ST-R7120 / BR-R7170 complete set combines the proven precision of a mechanical 2x12-speed drivetrain with the powerful, finely adjustable performance of hydraulic Flat-Mount disc brakes. The ergonomically redesigned dual-control levers offer excellent grip and reduced operating force. Equipped with the low-profile BR-R7170 2-piston calipers and quiet L05A resin brake pads with Ice-Technology cooling fins for reliable stopping power on long descents.
Delivery & assembly status: The brake system is supplied with original, untrimmed SM-BH90-JK-SSR brake hoses (front wheel: 1,000 mm | rear wheel: 1,700 mm). The STIs are not yet connected to the hoses for easy internal frame routing. The olives are already pre-installed in the brake levers, and suitable insert pins for individual trimming are included. Important notes: Supplied without shifter outer housings (and without shift cables). The system must be completely filled and bled before first use after internal routing and installation on the bike. The front wheel includes the Flat-Mount adapter (140/160 mm); the rear brake caliper is designed directly for 140 mm rotors (a separate adapter is required for 160 mm rotors at the rear).
