This precision-engineered adapter is specifically designed for the front wheel and allows for an upgrade to a **180 mm brake rotor**. By switching to a larger rotor, you immediately benefit from noticeably more braking power, better modulation, and optimized heat management on long descents.

Made from high-strength, extremely torsion-resistant aluminum, the adapter easily withstands the enormous forces encountered during hard braking without warping. It bridges the transition from the IS fork mount (51 mm hole spacing) to the Post Mount standard of the brake caliper (74 mm hole spacing) absolutely free of play. Thanks to the perfect Shimano fit, exact alignment of the brake caliper to the rotor is guaranteed, which effectively prevents unsightly rubbing or uneven pad wear.
