The Shimano Altus FD-M313-6 front derailleur is the reliable choice for replacing or upgrading 3x7 and 3x8-speed drivetrains on mountain bikes and trekking bikes. Thanks to the wide-link design, the derailleur offers noticeably higher rigidity and enables precise, crisp shifting even under load.
Due to the versatile dual-pull technology, the shift cable can be routed from either above or below, making installation extremely flexible for a wide variety of frame shapes. The all-round clamp mount (34.9 mm, including adapters for 31.8 mm and 28.6 mm) fits universally on common seat tube diameters and is optimally designed for large chainrings from 42 to 48 teeth.
