Der hydraulische Shimano BR-MT420 Scheibenbremssattel mit Postmount-Aufnahme überzeugt trotz seines überaus schlanken Aufbaus durch die kompromisslose Kraft eines 4-Kolben-Designs. Er bietet 20 % mehr Bremsleistung als die 2-Kolben-Version und garantiert damit eine zuverlässige Verzögerung sowie erstklassige Kontrolle selbst im anspruchsvollen Downhill- und MTB-Einsatz. Zudem konnte die Verschleißfestigkeit im Vergleich zum BR-MT400 um beeindruckende 150 % gesteigert werden.

Dieses funktionale **Fahrrad Bauteil** besteht aus einem robusten, lackierten Aluminiumgehäuse mit vier leichtläufigen Resin-Kolben (Kunstharz) und wird mit Shimano Mineralöl betrieben. Der Bremssattel lässt sich flexibel am Vorder- oder Hinterrad montieren und ist sowohl mit Shimano D03S Resin- als auch D02S Metall-Bremsbelägen kompatibel. Die Bremskraft kann mit passenden Bremsscheiben von 140 bis 203 mm optimal an den Fahrer angepasst werden.
