The Shimano RT-CL900 is the top-of-the-line brake rotor from the Dura-Ace R9200 and XTR M9100 series. It has been specially developed to ensure maximum braking power, excellent modulation, and exceptionally quiet braking performance without heat-induced warping, even on extremely long descents and at high temperatures.
Thanks to the advanced Ice-Technologies Freeza construction (a three-layer sandwich composite of stainless steel with an aluminum core and special coating), heat is dissipated extremely quickly. The torsionally rigid aluminum carrier minimizes annoying squealing and rotor distortion. Installation is fast and secure via Center Lock using the included lockring (internal serration).
