Der Shimano GRX FD-RX400 ist speziell für die Anforderungen von Gravelbikes, Cyclocrossern und All-Road-Abenteuern entwickelt worden. Er bietet eine um 2,5 mm nach außen versetzte Kettenlinie (46 mm), was zusätzlichen Freiraum für breitere Gravel-Reifen schafft und Verschmutzungen im Offroad-Einsatz effektiver vorbeugt.
Mit seiner ergonomischen Leistungskurve und der präzisen Down-Pull-Zugführung ermöglicht der Umwerfer ein spürbar leichtgängigeres, exaktes Schalten über die zwei Kettenblätter. Die Anlötmontage sorgt für eine cleane Integration am Rahmen, während der integrierte Zugversteller die feine Abstimmung der Zugspannung direkt am Umwerfer vereinfacht.
