The Shimano GRX FD-RX400 is specifically designed to meet the demands of gravel bikes, cyclocross bikes, and all-road adventures. It offers a 2.5 mm outboard chainline (46 mm), which creates additional clearance for wider gravel tires and more effectively prevents debris buildup during off-road use.
With its ergonomic power curve and precise down-pull cable routing, the front derailleur enables noticeably smoother and more accurate shifting across the two chainrings. The braze-on mounting ensures clean integration with the frame, while the integrated cable tension adjuster makes fine-tuning the cable tension directly at the derailleur easy.
