The Shimano R55C3 brake pad set is the ideal replacement part for demanding road cyclists who compromise neither on safety nor performance. The highly developed R55C3 pad compound from the Dura-Ace, Ultegra, and 105 performance classes guarantees first-class, precisely modulated braking performance under all conditions. Whether in bone-dry summer heat or sudden downpours – these pads reliably deliver high grip. In addition, the compound boasts significantly increased wear resistance, guaranteeing maximum longevity on long training rides and in tough race use.
The replacement pads are specially optimized for use on **aluminum braking surfaces**, where they act gently on the material and protect the rim. Thanks to the clever cartridge system, replacement is done in no time: the old pads are simply pulled out of the existing brake shoe, and the new R55C3 pads are inserted. The set is universally suitable for all classic Shimano Race rim brakes with replaceable pads (Note: not suitable for direct-mount brakes such as BR-9010/6810/5710).
