The SRAM PressFit GXP bottom bracket combines the weight advantages of press-fit technology with the proven reliability of the GXP system. With this standard, the bearing cups are pressed directly into the frame shell, which not only saves weight but also allows for easy assembly. The bearings are protected within robust nylon bearing cups, which reduces noise susceptibility and ensures precise alignment within the frame.
This bottom bracket is specifically designed for road bike frames with a bottom bracket shell diameter of 41 mm and a width of 86.5 mm. The industrial bearings themselves are elaborately sealed to effectively keep out moisture and dirt, thus significantly increasing their lifespan. It is the ideal choice for all SRAM and Truvativ cranksets with the characteristic GXP axle (22/24 mm).
