Das SRAM RED XPLR AXS Schaltwerk der neuesten E1-Generation (RD-RED-1-E1) bringt die bahnbrechende Transmission-Technologie aus dem Mountainbike-Sport ans Gravelbike. Entwickelt für die härtesten Bedingungen, setzt es auf die extrem robuste Full-Mount-Bauweise, die direkt am UDH-Interface des Rahmens montiert wird. Das Ergebnis ist eine bisher unerreichte Steifigkeit und Widerstandsfähigkeit gegenüber Schlägen im Renneinsatz.
Besondere Highlights der E1-Ausführung sind das Magic Wheel – ein unteres Schaltröllchen, das die Kette selbst bei Blockierung durch Stöcke oder Schlamm zuverlässig in Bewegung hält – sowie die integrierte Federkupplung für optimales Kettenmanagement. Dank der kabellosen AXS-Technologie und dem Verzicht auf Einstellschrauben gelingt die Einrichtung blitzschnell und absolut präzise. Bei harten Einschlägen schützt die Overload Clutch das E1-Schaltwerk durch selbstständiges Entkoppeln.
Wichtiger Hinweis zur Rahmen-Kompatibilität:
Dieses Full-Mount-Schaltwerk wird direkt am Rahmen befestigt und setzt zwingend einen Rahmen mit UDH-Schaltauge (Universal Derailleur Hanger) voraus. Eine Montage an herkömmlichen Schaltaugen ist nicht möglich.
