SYNCROS ROAD iC-R100-SL – THE SPEARHEAD OF AERODYNAMIC INTEGRATION
The Syncros iC-R100-SL handlebar-stem unit was specially developed for the brand-new Scott Addict RC (model year 2025). This cockpit sets new standards in the symbiosis of lightweight construction, stiffness, and aerodynamics. The development goal was a system that not only saves watts through a slight flare (6°) in the drops and optimized brake lever attachment but also offers superior handling in every racing situation. Thanks to the SL Carbon Layup, this unit is approx. 10% lighter than standard carbon constructions without compromising stability.
The "integrated Cockpit" (iC) concept blurs the lines between frame and components. The fully integrated cable routing ensures an extremely clean look and significantly minimizes air resistance. The compact drop shape and the moderately chosen reach of 75 mm enable quick position changes and an ergonomic posture, whether on climbs or in the final sprint. The matte UD carbon finish perfectly completes the high-end appearance.
