The Trek RSL Aero bottle cage was primarily developed for the Madone Gen 8, but has been proven to improve aerodynamics on race bikes and standard frames from all brands. Compared directly to standard round setups, this system saves a full **1.8 watts of power** at 35 km/h.
Made from ultralight OCLV carbon, the cage is extremely sturdy, lightweight, and fully UCI-compliant for racing use. Thanks to the universal standard hole pattern, it can be mounted on virtually any bike frame and securely holds both the aerodynamic Trek RSL Aero bottle and conventional round standard bottles.
