Dank seines hohen Anteils an reinem Butylkautschuk überzeugt er durch eine überragende Lufthaltigkeit im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Fahrradschläuchen. Aufgrund seiner rund 70 % höheren Wandstärke ist er besonders robust konstruiert und bietet einen stark erhöhten Schutz gegen Durchstiche und Durchschläge (Snakebites).
