ASSOS Trail Women's Cargo Half Shorts

These adaptable all-mountain shorts have reached new heights thanks to a women's-specific cut and advanced materials. The Trail Women's Cargo Shorts are engineered with a waistband that gently holds the shorts in place, a cut that's tailored to the top of the legs to prevent saddle snagging, a length that's ideal with or without a pad, and a versatile new fabric that flexes with every pedal stroke.

When reviewing other baggies, we found that the panels always bunched up in odd places, and that additional closures, webbing, and zippers added unnecessary weight and caused pressure points while pedaling. Our minimalist approach uses an adaptable textile for the main panels that's both durable and lightweight. Specifically, it's a bi-stretch fabric with extremely consistent composition, resulting in a fast-drying, comfortable material that also looks great on the trail.

After we had half the shorts' formula sorted, we put the fit under the ASSOS microscope and created a streamlined upper block, starting with the highly elastic waist panel, which provides a soft, comfortable wrap around the waist without unnecessary pressure. From there, we pulled the circumference of the thighs inward to ensure the saddle could float freely between the legs without adding bulk. We then relaxed the lower part of the legs and gave them a 12.5-inch inseam, making them ideal with or without a pad. We recommend pairing them with our Trail Women's Liner Shorts for unrestricted comfort in the mountains.

We would like to point out that we sell used and/or discontinued bikes here. If they are no longer in new condition, minor scratches can always occur. Wheels are visually classified as best and conscientiously as possible using the system below.

very good condition = very well-maintained condition/minor scratches possible that can arise from driving and/or storage

Good condition = has minor visual damage to the paint (we'll try to show it as best as possible with a picture)

Heavily used condition = has major damage to the paintwork in several places and you can clearly see that the item has been heavily used/technically harmless

Information on the condition of the wearing parts
