The Schwalbe Ice Spiker Pro Performance Set is the ultimate solution for mountain bikers who aren't deterred by icy trails and deep winter conditions. With a total of 402 robust steel studs per tire, this studded tire literally digs into slick ice surfaces and compacted snow. In this practical set of two tires, you'll fully equip your 29" MTB and enjoy maximum traction, safety, and directional stability where others have long since had to dismount.
Despite the massive number of studs, the Ice Spiker Pro remains surprisingly agile and fast. The Double Defense (RaceGuard + SnakeSkin) technology effectively protects the tire from cuts and punctures – both under the tread and on the sidewalls. The special winter rubber compound remains soft and grippy even in sub-zero temperatures, while the open tread ensures excellent self-cleaning. With the Tubeless Easy version, the set can also be ridden tubeless, saving weight and offering increased puncture protection.

Important Mounting & Break-in Instructions
• Break-in: To guarantee the permanent hold of the studs, the tires should be broken in for approx. 40–50 km on asphalt at low air pressure. Avoid abrupt braking and strong acceleration.
• Replacement Studs: Lost studs can easily be replaced with separately available replacement sets.
