A chain failure deep in the woods means the end of any ride if you don't have the right tools. The Specialized Top Cap Chain Tool solves this problem in an ingeniously discreet way: It replaces your conventional headset cap and integrates a fully functional chain breaker directly into the fork steerer. This way, you always have the most important breakdown tool at hand, without it taking up space in your bag or disturbing the clean look of your bike.
The system is a technical masterpiece of integration. It weighs only 25 g more than a standard cap and also offers a secure holder for a spare quick link. Since the system does not use the classic star nut, it is the perfect solution for delicate carbon fork steerers as well as aluminum steerers. An indispensable upgrade for minimalists and racers who want to be prepared for anything.
