Das SRAM GX Eagle Schaltwerk ist das Arbeitstier der Eagle-Familie, entwickelt für die harten Anforderungen moderner 1x12-fach Antriebe. In dieser Ausführung ist es vollständig optimiert für Kassetten mit bis zu 52 Zähnen. Dank des bewährten X-Horizon Designs wird die Schaltkraft reduziert und "Ghost Shifting" effektiv eliminiert, was für blitzschnelle und exakte Gangwechsel in jedem Gelände sorgt.

Für maximale Laufruhe sorgt die Type 3.0 Roller Bearing Clutch. Diese hocheffiziente Käfigdämpfung minimiert Kettenschlagen und verhindert das Abspringen der Kette selbst in ruppigen Sektionen. Die X-Sync Schaltröllchen stabilisieren den Kettenlauf zusätzlich und sorgen für ein flüsterleises System. Mit der Cage Lock Funktion lässt sich der Käfig für einfachste Laufradwechsel per Knopfdruck arretieren.
