The Madone SL 5 Gen 8 is a lightweight aero road bike that makes elite racing technology affordable. It offers similar aerodynamic advantages to the higher-priced Madone SLR Gen 8, but features a more affordable 500 Series OCLV Carbon layup and a two-piece cockpit with internal cable routing. Its race geometry delivers high speeds in sprints and confident control on fast descents. A mechanical Shimano 105 groupset keeps the price reasonable while delivering smooth, reliable shifting performance.
Frame: 500 Series OCLV carbon frame with Full System Foil tube profiles and IsoFlow seat tube. Integrated cable routing, RCS headset system, removable aero chain guide, flat mount disc brake mount, T47 bottom bracket, UDH derailleur hanger.
Thru axle: 142 × 12 mm
Fork: Madone Gen 8 full carbon, tapered carbon steerer tube, internally routed brake line, flat mount disc, 12 × 100 mm thru axle.
